Mercy Groups
Life is Better Together
At Mercy Road Church, we believe following Jesus is meant to happen in community. Mercy Groups are small groups of people who gather regularly to study God's Word, pray together, encourage one another, and live on mission together.
Whether you've been following Christ for years or you're just beginning to explore your faith, there's a place for you.
Everyone is welcome.
Why Join a Mercy Group?
Mercy Groups are one of the primary ways we grow as disciples at Mercy Road Church. Through Scripture, prayer, authentic relationships, and practical encouragement, we help one another know God's Word, obey God's Word, and live it out every day.
Our hope is that you'll experience:
Biblical growth
Genuine friendships
Prayer and encouragement
Accountability
A place to belong
Opportunities to serve others
What Can I Expect?
Every Mercy Group is a little different, but most meetings include:
A meal or light refreshments
Discussion from our church-wide Bible reading plan
Prayer for one another
Encouragement and authentic conversation
Practical ways to apply God's Word throughout the week
Most groups meet for about 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Where and When Do Groups Meet?
Groups meet:
In homes
At the church
At local restaurants
Other community locations
Most groups meet weekly or twice each month.
I'm New... Can I Come?
Absolutely.
You don't have to be a church member.
You don't need Bible knowledge.
You don't have to attend every week.
You're welcome to visit a group before deciding if it's the right fit.
Most people discover that Mercy Groups quickly become like family.
How Do I Join?
It's easy.
Visit the Connect Center on Sunday morning or contact the church, and we'll help connect you with a Mercy Group that fits your schedule and stage of life.
A group leader will reach out and invite you to visit—usually within just a few days.
Interested in Leading a Group?
As Mercy Road continues to grow, we're always developing future Mercy Group leaders.
If you're interested in helping lead a group, talk with Justin Mason or Nathan Rogers. Leaders receive coaching, resources, and ongoing support from church leadership.
We Can't Wait to Meet You
Life was never meant to be lived alone.
Whether you're looking for community, biblical encouragement, or simply a place where you can grow in your faith, Mercy Groups are a great place to begin.
Come as you are. We'd love to have you.
